Carr Taylor Vineyards offers its visitors an enchanting vineyard and wine experience.
As one of the largest and most successful English vineyards in the country, we are dedicated to
providing a memorable visit!
Your tour can be accompanied or not, just for you and your partner, or even a
group! We look forward to meeting you.
We are open 7 days a week from 10am until 5pm (all year except 25th Dec through 1st Jan).
So, pretty much whenever you have the time!
There is ample parking at the vineyard for both cars and coaches.
When your tour has finished you can:
- Use the licensed shop, where you can buy:
- award winning wines
- fruit juices
- preserves
- chocolates
- honey
- mustards
- and a selection of gift packs and hampers!
- relax in the shop café with tea and cakes

Children under 16 are free
For couples or small groups we offer a self-guided trail around the vineyard, through the winery and bottling room.
On arrival you will be given a leaflet which includes a map of the vineyard trail and winery as well as a brief history of the vineyard and winemaking. There are also information boards dotted around the trail. Afterwards you can return to the shop to taste the wines.
You do not need to book for self-guided tours.
As we close at 5pm we suggest you arrive at no later than 4pm, in wintertime 3pm, for the trail.
