We are incredibly fortunate to have a wonderful team of friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable tour guides, some of whom have been with us in our shop and guiding groups around our vineyard and winery for many years.

Among them are:
Dave Harrison Dave was employed at Gatwick airport for many years and travelled the world teaching people how to trace missing baggage. As well as entertaining our visitors, he lectures on the history of Gatwick and on Vines & Wines to very diverse groups of the public. He has been a tour guide at Carr Taylor Vineyard since 2004. He is also extensively known in Sussex, Surrey and Kent as a Medium and Clairvoyant. He retired to Hastings in 1999 to be close to his children and grandchildren. His ambition is to outlive them all and to continue being active until at least his 100th birthday!
Sue has worked at the vineyard since 1996. She lives in Battle and has 4 children aged between 14 and 21. She enjoys reading, travelling, eating and, of course, drinking!
Carol has lived in East Sussex since 2000. She lives a ‘Country Living’ existence with a menagerie of 2 cats, 3 ducks, 10 ducklings, 20 chickens, 2 bee hives and 3 children. Luckily, her neighbours still talk to her! Her favourite way to relax is with a glass of bubbly in the garden. She has been gardening organically since 1994 and is now in the process of converting her garden to biodynamic sowing and planting methods.
