Vineyard tours at Easter

on April 8, 2011

Why not pop in for a break this Easter?

If you’re stuck for low cost things to do with the children during the Easter holidays (9th-25th April), we are offering a FREE children’s treasure trail which includes a colouring competition to win an Easter Prize. All accompanying grown-ups can also be entered into our prize draw to win a bottle of our Brut.

We have cakes and other snacks, and a selection of juices, tea and coffee are also available from the Vineyard’s coffee shop. Although we don’t yet offer sandwiches, you are very welcome to bring a picnic with you to enjoy the space we have, and there are several picnic tables you are welcome to use.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff are in the shop from 10am to 5pm, 7 days a week. They offer FREE samples of any of the 14 Sparkling, Still and Fruit Wines produced on site.

We have lots of free parking, and space for your little ones to run around – our short trail takes about 15 minutes, and the long trail can take 30-40 minutes depending on whether you’re carrying reluctant toddlers, or chasing after teenagers!

The vineyard has just been pruned and is looking tended and tidy after lying dormant for the winter. The magnolias and chesnut trees are blooming and budding, and even one or two of the bluebells have opened up to enjoy the glorious weather we’ve been enjoying.

Why not come along and join us, and unwind a little amongst the vines!
