Update from our 2015 Harvest… and we have a new website!

on November 12, 2015

At the Vineyard everything is looking very autumnal with most of the leaves having now fallen from the vines.  The grapes (about 30 tonnes) are all pressed and their precious juice is in the vats fermenting for next years vintage from Easter onwards. We are still busy with tours and lunches and the coach parties keep coming as they can enjoy a bargain break at this time of year.

We have started a campaign to expand the outlets for our wines in the region.  Very few Restaurants sell English Wine even though they advertise locally sourced produce which is a shame.  We should be supporting the local economy in favour of foreign vineyards whose workers don’t live and shop in this area.

Our new mobile-friendly website has gone live and we are about to send a mailshot to our 4000+ mailing list to take a look.  We are also launching our 2015/16 exciting range of hampers which can be delivered anywhere in mainland Britain.

So we are girding our loins in readiness for the Christmas Rush which for us commences with the Hamper and Gift Weekend on 21st and 22nd November where we will offer all visitors over 18 a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie when they drop in for a free wine-tasting.
